With the increase in tourists that travel free and independent to any organised group, Real Jouneys required a vessel that would enable people to explore Fiordland National Park.

Sinbad, a CPG designed vessel, was created to withstand the Southern sea conditions whilst providing exceptional passenger comfort and the ability to enjoy the spectaular scenary that the Fiordland National Park offers.  Sinbad allows passengers to take-in the amazing views from the open air foredeck during fine weather whilst also allowing substantial below-deck viewing during peiods of rough weather.

Sinbad was comissioned exclusivly for use in the Fiordland National Park region so it was imperative that the propulsion systems had a little effect on the region as possible.  With some clever thinking and use of the latest technologies Sinbad was able to achieve a minimal carbon footprint per passenger and is proving to be a real star in the Real Journeys fleet.
