CPG were engaged to apply for a retrospective coastal permit and resource consent application with the Auckland Regional Council and the Auckland City Council.

The team at CPG Auckland considered the impact of work undertaken in 2001 when they were engaged to apply for a retrospective coastal permit and resource consent application with the Auckland Regional Council and the Auckland City Council. During 2001 the applicants, residents of Waipuna Road East, on the eastern edge of the Tamaki Estuary, carried out several land modification activities within the Foreshore Reserve to gain access to their jetty and pontoon. These included earthworks, construction of a new concrete pathway and several retaining walls, removal of native trees, land reclamation and construction of a sea wall. Resource Consent applications prepared by the team addressed the environmental impact of the works carried out and whether the retention of the structures was appropriate in terms of their effect on the general coastal environment.
