Apron Design

Apron Design

An airport ramp or apron is usually the area where aircraft are parked, unloaded or loaded, refueled or boarded. CPG offers apron structural design based on International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Annex 14 principles and layout design using Autotrack software for both fixed and rotary wing operations. We can also provide solutions enabling the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians in the vicinity of the aircraft. Our team will work closely with operational management to ensure that the issues unique to each airport are fully addressed.

Regulatory Compliance

Regulatory Compliance

Compliance today not only means keeping up with changes to the Civil Aviation Rules (CARs), but also to the health, safety and environmental regulations applied in the aviation sector. Through the provision of updates to operation manuals and aerodrome expositions we ensure the information required for compliance with CARs and other legislation is fully up to date at the conclusion of any project.

Pavement Rehabilitation & Design

Pavement Rehabilitation and Design

CPG offer runway design based on ICAO Annex 14 principles and methodologies. Utilising staff with experience in pavement design and resurfacing works, we will work closely with operations and air traffic and users to ensure that the method of work plans, calculation of effective operational length and temporary lighting and markings all combine to provide a safe and effective project outcome.

Environmental Complience

Environmental Compliance

Protection of the environment is perhaps the most challenging issue facing airports today. Issues range from effective management of surface pollutants to reduction of energy use and emissions. We provide innovative solutions suitable to the needs of an airport, either by auditing and optimising existing systems or by designing new components to be integrated into operations.
