Catchment Investigations
A catchment is the area from which a body receives its water. CPG employs scientists with a range of experience in the assessment and management of catchment processes. We will undertake investigations into catchment issues including groundwater, surface water and ecology in order to identify and minimise sources of water contamination and assist our clients to maximise the safe and sustainable use of their land.

Ecological Investigations
Ecological investigations involve the study of living things and their physical environment. CPG is experienced in undertaking ecological investigations in order to assist clients in meeting the requirements of consents and plans through monitoring and understanding of the natural environment in they operate.

Surface Water Investigations
We regularly assist our clients with a wide range of surface water investigations including stream flow assessments, water quality analysis, water level monitoring and hydrological modeling. This process will enable you to better understand the current environment in which you are operating and the impact of any change in activity.

Soil Investigations
Soil investigations assist our clients to understand the impact that activities can have on what is often their immediate receiving environment. CPG services in this area include hydraulic assessments, nutrient and chemical budgets, mapping, profile characteristics and land use capability assessments.

Groundwater Investigations
Effective use of groundwater resources is an important part of sustainable development. CPG has the expertise to investigate groundwater resources with strong capabilities in specialty areas such as aquifer testing, groundwater quality sampling and groundwater modeling.
