Contaminated Site Investigations
A contaminated site is generally regarded as a site where hazardous substances occur at a concentration sufficiently above background levels to cause an immediate or long term hazard to human health or the environment. CPG will perform contaminated site investigations based around Ministry for the Environment Guidelines for contaminated land management. Our experts have extensive experience in a variety of environments including mining, manufacturing and consulting.

Due Diligence Inspections and Property Audits
Undertaking a due diligence investigation prior to a transfer of ownership on a property provides the owner with greater assurance that a site is appropriate for the intended land-use and reduces the risk of costly remediation of a site. CPG will undertake property audits and inspections to examine the processes currently employed on a site and assess exposure risks and the future risk of contamination.

Land Remediation and Verification
Land remediation plans provide for actions that will ensure the safe use of a site when it comes to the removal or treatment of contaminants on a property. Councils may often require validation reports to ensure remediation or management plans are successful in reducing the exposure of contaminants to the land user. We have experience in the preparation and delivery of these plans and reports.
