As a result of our significant experience within the ports industry we understand the real operational consequences of engineering design.
For more than 20 years we have been providing New Zealand with naval architectural solutions during which time New Zealand has seen many changes in the marine sector. The working fleet has changed dramatically; where fishing vessels were once the main stay, now tourist cruisers and aquaculture service vessels make up the majority. Ports used to have many regular coastal traders - now the large container and cruise ships seek deeper ports.
CPG has supplied New Zealand with many of her most iconic vessels and continues today to ensure that the workhorses of New Zealand’s marine industry are safe, secure and can face the harsh Southern Pacific environment.
