Land Use Consents

Land Use Consents

Land use consent is required for activities not permitted as of right in district or regional plans. CPG have the background and expertise to achieve all types of residential and commercial land use consents for clients. We prepare Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEEs) and consent applications, provide expert evidence and attend hearings. We also identify potential sites for clients who have a specific land use requirement.

Design and Specialist Consultant Management

Subdivision Consents

Resource consent is always required for subdivision of land. At CPG, our in-house surveyors and engineers prepare succinct, robust subdivision applications addressing any potential adverse effects of subdividing land and assessing the adequacy of works and services required for new sites.

Discharge Permits

Discharge Permits

CPG has considerable experience in obtaining robust permits for clients for discharges and can provide discharge modeling and conceptual designs.
Our specialist engineers, scientists and planners enable us to calculate discharge requirements, design effective systems, obtain permits and advise clients on their specific requirements and on the most practical way to achieve positive results.

Water Permits

Water Permits

A water permit is an application for a resource consent to take water including surface water and groundwater for domestic use, community water schemes, stock water, land irrigation and commercial and industrial use. CPG will accurately determine your water requirements, analyse existing regional council data and provide information regarding options and alternatives.

Plan Changes

Plan Changes

CPG acts on your behalf in relation to changes to District Plans or Regional Plans. We have been involved in the preparation of numerous council-initiated Plan Changes and Variations, can consult with the council to prepare privately initiated changes to the District Plan and lodge formal submissions on proposed Plan Changes. We will also appear and give evidence in support of submissions at council hearings.
