Water Resource Assessments
Water resource assessments are crucial to fulfil consent obligations under the Resource Management Act 1991. CPG measure, quantify and analyse hydrometric data, water quality and aesthetics, and ascertain demand competition. We have experience and expertise in all aspects of water resource assessments from scoping and feasibility reports, undertaking the consenting process through to design and construction of appropriate and effective systems for our clients.
Environmental Monitoring
CPG has developed specific skills and expertise in the collection, assessment and reporting of environmental information. We undertake relevant sampling, have the results scientifically analysed and then provide interpretation of the results in an appropriate format. Our team of scientists and technicians have expertise in ground and surface water, soil and sediment sampling. We can also complete industrial and domestic wastewater analysis and characterisation.
Ground Characterisation & Hydraulic Investigations
Whether you need to understand the soil and substrata hydraulic characteristics of an area, or to determine suitability of an area for stormwater or wastewater discharge into ground, detailed soil information combined with thorough hydraulic investigations are essential. CPG analyse existing soil mapping data, undertake site investigations and interpret the findings for clients. Our hydraulic investigations are used to support consent applications under the Resource Management Act 1991.
Industrial Wastewater Assessments
CPG regularly works with clients ranging from food processors and laundries to tanneries, fellmongers, electroplaters and landfills, timber processors and MDF plants to undertake wastewater assessments and provide an understanding of legislated treatment obligations and to design and install appropriate wastewater systems.
